Bringing Families Together
Growing Up Downtown is a community-based initiative that offers support to families with young children who face barriers to healthy child and family development.
Eighteen community services representing housing providers, transition houses, health services, justice, legal aid lawyers, family service centres, adult day programs and family resource programs, work collaboratively to build healthy supportive communities by providing transitional and ongoing supports.
Outreach Support and Education
Outreach Support and Education activities focus on providing supports to families "where they are at" and creating links to services in the broader community. Staff also facilitates a variety of educational workshops and activities in the area of healthy child and family development.

Parent-Child Drop-In Program
Parent-Child Drop-In Programs are tailored to meet the diverse needs of individual communities and integrate play-based problem solving activities, parent education and child development resources. Parents and caregivers participate in program planning and play a direct role in developing program routines.
